Music: Karen Sunabacka

Karen Sunabacka is a composer, cellist and music theorist currently living in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, but with deep roots in Manitoba. In demand as a composer she enjoys the challenge of composing, teaching, performing, travelling, and keeping up with the latest science fiction and fantasy book, film, or tv series. Some recent compositions include #DryColdConversations for the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, We all Sing for Conrad Grebel University College, and I Wasn’t Meant for This for Park Sounds (Viola d’Amore and Percussion). She is currently an Associate Professor of Music at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
